I always swore I would never be an LJ'er, and I actually started this journal solely so I could have access to a couple communities I wanted to watch. I've discovered being an LJ'er isn't so bad, but wish my life was marginally more exciting so I would have more interesting things to post.
I love writing but had never shared any of it until I discovered fanfic. I've dabbled with a couple 'Crossing Jordan' fics and have recently re-discovered 'Remington Steele' for which ideas are running rampant through my head; I'll get them down eventually. I may post my fics in my journal at some point, but for now if anyone's interestd they can be found at fanfiction.net (my homepage.)
I love music of virtually any genre and can not imagine my life without it. It inspires most of my writing. I do have a musical background, but couldn't sing my way out of a tin can (even though I desperately wish I could!) My children share my passion for music, so much that my 7 year old son recently started guitar lessons and has discovered a natural talent for playing.
I'm a romantic, but don't do well with romance in real life.
I hope someday to finally have the means and the courage to figure out what my dreams are, and to follow them.
